Our client, headquartered in Stuttgart (Germany) is looking for a bold, visionary and fast-paced candidate to fundamentally shape corporate strategy, actively drive the change process and hereby make an impact in the company’s future development on national and international level.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Continuous evaluation of the optimization of the company portfolio in collaboration with the executive management, business unit leaders, and the Group General Counsel
• Definition, implementation, adaptation and control of the regular corporate strategy process and planning cycle
• Creation and implementation of effective tools for the development, implementation and execution of the strategic playbook in collaboration with the VP Strategy Execution/PMI
• Responsible for the identification and analysis of potential acquisitions, joint ventures or the sale of business units
• Preparation, visualization and presentation of relevant decision materials/transaction approvals for the supervisory board, executive management and business unit leaders
• Leadership and coordination of global, cross-functional teams through all phases of the M&A process, including due diligence, negotiations and management of consultants
• Development of appropriate integration strategies and implementation processes (PMI) and support in execution in collaboration with the VP Strategy Execution/PMI
• Direct report line to the Group CEO and CFO

 

YOUR PROFILE

• Successful degree in the field of Business/Finance
• More than 10 years of relevant professional experience in the areas of corporate strategy and/or M&A, either in consulting or for large and complex international corporations
• Successful leadership and implementation of M&A projects in the manufacturing sector within a global context
• Solid experience in structuring and negotiating transactions
• Several years of experience in strategic planning and implementation within an international company as a reliable advisor to the top/senior leadership team
• Pragmatic and collaborative project management skills, with the ability to deliver results under challenging conditions
• Experienced in handling demanding and diverse stakeholders
• Strategic leadership of a team of high potentials
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Hands-on mentality with a consciously pragmatic character
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities, as well as process orientation
• Excellent proficiency in both German and English, both written and spoken
